Ode to the Spinning Loading Circle

O noble ring of broken hope,

you spin and spin but never cope

with loading what I need to see—

just buffer on, eternally.

You've stolen minutes, hours, days

while I sit trapped in your buffered maze.

I've grown a beard. I've aged. I've wept.

You spun right through while I just slept.

So spin, dear circle, spin your lie

between the server and my sigh.

One day the page will finally load—

or maybe not. That's just the code.
