PottyPoet is a poetry discovery and publishing platform. It allows poets to submit original poetry for publication and readers to discover, read, like, and share poems. The platform is free to use.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use this platform.
• One account per person — multiple accounts are not permitted.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Content & Submissions

By submitting a poem to PottyPoet, you confirm that:

• The poem is your original work and you hold the copyright.
• You grant PottyPoet a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote the poem on the platform.
• You retain full ownership of your work and may request its removal at any time.
• The content does not infringe any third-party rights.

All submissions are reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to decline any submission that violates our content guidelines.

5. Prohibited Content

You may not submit or post content that:

• Is hateful, discriminatory, or incites violence
• Harasses, threatens, or bullies any individual
• Contains spam, advertisements, or promotional material
• Infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property
• Is sexually explicit without being marked as adult content
• Contains malware, viruses, or malicious code

6. Intellectual Property

The PottyPoet name, logo, brand, and all original platform content are owned by PottyPoet. The names "Poetry for Every Throne™", "Stall of Fame™", "Hot Off The Seat™", "Roll the Toilet Paper™", "Bathroom Break Reads™", and "Golden Plunger Awards™" are trademarks of PottyPoet. You may not use them without prior written permission.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

PottyPoet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of PottyPoet after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We'll notify registered users of material changes by email.
