In the field behind my childhood home,

a sheep stands in perfect 1080p.

The grass loads in patches.

The sky is a solid fill,

no clouds,

just the hex code for afternoon.

I walk toward the sheep.

The sheep does not walk toward me.

The sheep is rendered at medium quality.

The sheep has not buffered the part where it knows I'm coming.

I sit in the unrendered grass.

The silence compresses.

An ambient track begins: wind.wav.

Everything is almost fine.

Everything is loading.
