The Midnight Scribbler Dark
🚽 Quick Break • 48s 📖 72013 reads ↗️ 0 shares

I have been running

on low power for months now.

Not broken.

Not dark.

Just— conserving.

I go through the days

with one hand on the railing.

I make the meals.

I answer the messages

(eventually).

I perform being fine

well enough

that no one asks again.

At night I run a diagnostic.

Everything checks out.

Everything is technically functional.

I just don't know

where I put

the part of me

that used to want things.
